A Visit From The Channel Islands

justicia lodge

On Friday 8th March 2024 two Brethren from the Province of Guernsey and Alderney travelled to Twickenham and had specifically arranged to visit the Brethren of Justicia Lodge No 2563 in the Province of Middlesex. This is their report:

“Brother Byrne who is the Senior Warden of Mariners Lodge No 168 and together with Worshipful Brother Ian Davidson, the Director of Ceremonies of Balfour Cockburn Lodge No 2805 had an incredible evening where they witnessed a fantastic ceremony of Raising with the walking charge diligently executed by the Lodge Organist. The Brethren of Justicia Lodge No 2563 certainly showed fantastic high standards of ritual.

Bro Steve Byrne also said ‘I had the pleasure of visiting Barras Hall Lodge No 8096 two years ago and have been keen to come back to the Province of Middlesex. Last week W. Bro Ian Davidson and I were certainly treated to a wonderful evening at Justicia Lodge’. On arrival arrived the Secretary presented us both with a pair of Justicia Lodge cufflinks and a Celtic pen

The evening’s work in the Temple was followed by a fabulous festive board where we both had the opportunity to reply to the Visitors toast. From both W Bro Ian and myself a huge thanks to the brethren of Justicia Lodge for a memorable evening and we look forward to visiting again and if any Brother in the Province of Middlesex would like to visit Guernsey we would be delighted to greet you”
