The new masonic season has boded well for the Companions of St Clair Chapter 2902 who were the first unit to kick off the new year. Not only were they the first unit at TDMC to hold a meeting, but also exalted a new Companion, W. Bro Edward Poku Agyeman, who is a London Mason being a member and current Worshipful Master of Empire Lodge No 2108. This follows on from the March meeting 2023 when another member of the same Lodge, Companion Joshua Mensah, also joined St Clair Chapter. You might say that the Empire strikes twice.
However, not a hint of Star Wars. Being the first Chapter meeting at Cole Court this September, it was also one of the first Chain visits of the season and the Chapter was pleased to welcome E. Comp Howard Hughes PGStdB, 3rd Provincial Grand Principal together with his Escort team. It was a splendid occasion, and it was heartening to see 25 Royal Arch Companions in the Temple. A good start to the New Year.
There was another first as well in that St Clair Chapter is the first to donate to the Teddies for Loving Care (TLC) Charity this masonic year.
