Dear Bro / Comp Charity Steward
As we depart from the relaxation of summer and back into our Masonic season, we’d like to invite you to an induction and training workshop. We already know from our first step in Masonry that the distinctive characteristic of a Freemasons heart is CHARITY, in this workshop we aim to demonstrate how you as Charity Steward can best fulfil this role.
It is hoped that this workshop will help you to improve your knowledge and advance your skills and abilities as a Charity Steward. Whether you are newly appointed or experienced, you will inevitably garner a greater understanding of the crucial role you will play in spearheading our charitable efforts at both the Lodge and Provincial level.
With a new Middlesex Festival 2031 on the horizon, we will also illustrate a framework of ideas within which Charity Stewards can develop and adapt to the unique circumstances and opportunities which the festival will present to us.
This is a golden opportunity for Charity Stewards to come together as a group and hear from the Provincial Grand Charity Stewards – (Craft) W. Bro Alfie Buckland and (Royal Arch) E. Comp Peter Lawrence and members of the Festival team who will share information and tips as well as answering any questions you may have.
A light finger buffet will be provided free of charge afterwards where you will have the opportunity to talk with W. Bro Paul Sully, APGM the Festival Chairman and other members of his team.
I am sure that you will find this workshop interesting and rewarding as well as interactive. If you have not done so already, please complete the RSVP on the link below, should you have any queries regarding the arrangements for the workshop please email W Bro Martin Burt, PProvJGW at martin.burt@pglm.org.uk
