W Bro Steven Osgood was appointed to the role of Provincial Membership Officer in 2025.
The role of the Provincial Membership Officer is part of the recommendations from UGLE and the purpose is to help attract and select potential members, improve retention rates as well as aiding Lodges in developing and implementing a membership strategy, with a view to attracting suitable candidates.
The Provincial Membership Officer and his team will also help identify and share ‘best practice’ which is expected to have a positive impact on candidate growth / retention within the Province of Middlesex.
Steve has been a Middlesex Freemason for over twenty years and has previously held active ranks within the province as Provincial Grand Steward and Provincial Senior Grand Deacon. He has also served as a member of the Centre Membership team at the Uxbridge Masonic Centre and as a Visiting Officer for University Scheme Lodges.
He is a member of Jersey Lodge, No.2163, Prince Michael of Kent Lodge, No.9120, Jersey Chapter No. 2163, Middlesex First Principals Chapter No.3420 and the 1870 Club.
Outside Freemasonry, Steve is a trustee of a charity radio station, and his pastime activities include football, computing, and charitable work.
