W. Bro Adrian Quick PProvJGW (Berks) PProvGSoj (Middlesex)
18/01/1961 – 15/08/2023
We are saddened to report the sad death of Adrian Quick on Tuesday 15th August. He was the owner of FABB the regalia supplier and the favoured provided of masonic accoutrements to the Province of Middlesex. Some will have experienced buying from him online, but others will have had the opportunity to visit his premises down in Ringwood, Dorset and chat about things masonic. He was always the gentleman.
He was a Berkshire Mason first having been initiated into Berries Lodge No 2928 in 1990. Over a period of time, he joined Lodges in Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Lodge of Unity 132 which meets in Ringwood where Adrian lived and also in London, Lodge of Love and Friendship 6123. More recently in 2021 he was a Founder member of Gourmet Lodge 10008 in the Province of Berkshire which is a unique lodge where brethren meet together to enjoy fine dining at worthy establishments.
His Middlesex Royal Arch career was probably overshowed by his Craft involvements. Nevertheless, he was a Middlesex Royal Arch Mason having been exalted in Wyke Green Chapter No 8208 in 1994 and became First Principal in 2003. Regrettably, the Chapter was erased in 2015. However, he was honoured in Middlesex Royal Arch first as Past Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies in 2008 and then subsequently promoted to Past Provincial Grand Sojourner in 2013.
No doubt his sad death will leave a vacuum in the market place for an experienced mason who knew our requirements and was able to supply good quality regalia at a competitive price.
