On 29th July 2025, W. Bro Ollie Mazzitelli of Circle of Friendship Lodge No. 7320 visited the Brent Carers Centre in his new role as the Middlesex Representative for the Get Started Therapy initiative.

During the visit, he met with Nina Vora and Anne Marie from the Centre, who were delighted to receive a donation of therapeutic art and colouring books. These resources will be used to support both young and adult carers, particularly during regular seminars held every 6 to 8 weeks for individuals living with disabilities.

The Centre also plans to distribute the books to carers who provide in-home support across the community, offering both relaxation and creative engagement for those they care for.

This donation builds on a strong relationship between Middlesex Freemasonry and the Brent Carers Centre. In 2020, Middlesex Freemasons donated £5,000 to support their ongoing work.

Nina Vora, Carers Advice & Support Officer, expressed her gratitude, saying:

“It was a pleasure to meet you. May I thank Middlesex Freemasons for your generous donation of the relax and colour books and crayons. This will be fun for our young carers and very therapeutic for our adult carers and the persons they care for.”

This initiative reflects the continuing commitment of Middlesex Freemasons to charitable work within the local community — demonstrating that the principles of brotherly love, relief, and truth remain at the heart of our Craft.
