Middlesex 2031 Festival Transforms Early Fundraising Success into Vital Support for St Luke’s Hospice

The Middlesex 2031 Festival has not only got off to a flying start in terms of fundraising, but it is already making a tangible difference within our local communities.

Pictured presenting a £15,000 donation to St Luke’s Hospice are representatives of the Festival Team, including Alfie Buckland, Provincial Grand Charity Steward, Perry Roper, Middlesex 2031 Festival Secretary, and Dipesh Shah, Harrow Centre Festival Chairman, together with Amanda Ziegler, Trusts and Foundation Manager of St. Luke’s and some of the amazing nursing staff.

St Luke’s Hospice provides specialist palliative and end-of-life care to people across Harrow and Brent, helping patients and their families achieve the best possible quality of life during some of life’s most challenging moments. This grant has been specifically awarded to support the funding of Palliative Care Nurses within the Hospice’s In-Patient Unit. Release See: https://www.stlukes-hospice.org/about-us/

The donation forms part of the Middlesex 2031 Festival’s commitment to supporting both national and local charitable causes. St Luke’s Hospice was nominated by Middlesex Brethren through the Pro’s Post Box initiative and selected as one of the first recipients of Festival funding, alongside Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.

The Pro’s Post Box provides every member with the opportunity to nominate charities and community projects that are particularly important to them. So, whenever you see the Post Box at a meeting or Festival event, make sure you take the opportunity to submit your charity recommendation.

Despite the well-publicised challenges of the current “Cost of Giving Crisis”, Middlesex Freemasons have responded with extraordinary generosity, creating a new benchmark for Masonic fundraising and demonstrating the power of collective charitable endeavour.

The most effective way to support projects such as St Luke’s Hospice is by supporting the Middlesex 2031 Festival. Members who have not yet participated are encouraged to speak with their Lodge or Chapter Charity Steward or visit www.middx2031.org to learn more about the many ways to get involved.

Whether through regular giving, participating in Festival events, purchasing merchandise, or supporting fundraising initiatives, every contribution helps to strengthen our communities. Along the way, we are creating lasting memories, new friendships, and experiences that will be talked about for years to come.

Most importantly, while the Festival itself will conclude in 2031, the impact of your generosity will continue long afterwards. The charitable legacy created by Middlesex Freemasons will be felt by countless individuals and families for many years to come.
