A Memorable Raising at North Harrow Lodge No. 6557

On Thursday, 9th May, North Harrow Lodge No. 6557 was delighted to raise Brother Dalvinder Mandair to the sublime degree of a Master Mason.

The ceremony was conducted with solemnity and confidence by the Worshipful Master and his officers—many of whom were performing their roles for the first time. Of particular note was the Inner Guard, who, despite being completely blind, executed his duties with impressive composure and precision, embodying the true spirit of dedication and inclusivity.

The charges and explanations were delivered with clarity and poise by both junior and senior brethren, demonstrating commendable preparation and understanding. The Traditional History, the Tracing Board explanation, and the alternative signs were all presented with distinction by the Junior Warden, W. Bro. Leonardo Monno, PPrGStB, whose well-known skill and eloquence once again shone through.

The Lodge was honoured by the presence of several distinguished guests, including Senior London Grand Rank W. Bro. Chittleborough, Provincial Grand Officer Nigel Harris-Cooksley, AGStB, and the Provincial Visiting Officer W. Bro. Yohesh Teli, PPrDepGReg. Their attendance and kind words added gravitas and warmth to the proceedings.

At the Festive Board, the spirit of Brotherhood was reaffirmed in full. Heartfelt toasts, cheerful conversation, and genuine expressions of friendship echoed throughout the evening. Promises of future visits and ongoing fraternal support were warmly exchanged between hosts and guests.

The evening concluded, as is tradition, with the toast to Absent Brethren—an enduring reminder of the unity and timeless bonds we share as Freemasons.
