Fellow Lodges to Fellow Craft

and a 50 Year Certificate

Wembley Lodge 2914 was abuzz with camaraderie and laughter. Wembley Lodge had graciously hosted the meeting for Hundred of Gore Lodge 8314, demonstrating a true example of Masonic brotherhood by pausing their own work to assist their fellow lodge. The evening was set for a convivial and memorable occasion.

Members of both lodges mingled and exchanged stories, their regalia reflecting the shared values and traditions of freemasonry. The main highlight of the evening was to pass two brethren from Hundred of Gore Lodge. The air was filled with anticipation as the brethren gathered to witness this significant milestone in the Masonic journey of the two brethren.

The atmosphere was electric with the warmth of fraternity and mutual respect. The ceremonial proceedings were carried out with impeccable precision, reflecting the time-honoured traditions of freemasonry. Each step of the ritual was met with nods of approval and encouragement from the assembled brethren.

As if this wasn’t special enough, the evening also marked another remarkable event – the welcoming of W. Bro. Roger Nowell on the occasion of his 50 years in freemasonry. The APGM Paul Sully, PSGD took the stage, his presence adding an extra layer of significance to the occasion. He spoke with heartfelt admiration for W. Bro. Roger’s dedication and contributions over the past five decades. The applause that followed was thunderous, as W. Bro. Roger received a standing ovation from his brothers.

Amidst the celebrations, the spirit of collaboration between the lodges shone brightly. This seamless cooperation and the shared joy of the evening inspired two guest W. Bros, Damon Humphreys and Paul Turner, to apply for membership at Wembley Lodge. The bonds of fraternity were further strengthened as the lodges exemplified the true essence of Masonic brotherhood.

The meeting concluded with a convivial gathering, where the brethren enjoyed a sumptuous meal, hearty laughter, and engaging conversations. It was a night to remember, a testament to the enduring spirit of freemasonry and the cherished bonds it fosters.
