Exciting news for the Middlesex Province! A heartwarming story of charitable efforts by Middlesex Freemasons has been featured in the prestigious Freemasonry Today magazine, Winter 2024 edition – the official publication of the United Grand Lodge of England.
You may recall the inspiring tale from June when the Metropolitan Grand Stewards organised a charity walk in support of the London Air Ambulance. True to their generous spirit, our very own Middlesex Provincial Grand Stewards enthusiastically participated, making an incredible impact by raising vital funds.
The combined generosity of two Middlesex charities made this initiative truly remarkable. The Middlesex Province Relief Fund (MPRF) contributed an astounding £75,000, while the Masonic Province of Middlesex Charitable Trust (MPMCT) added a further £25,000.
These impressive donations, paired with an additional £15,000 raised by participants through sponsorships, brought the total to an incredible amount – a testament to the power of collective effort and goodwill.
