This financial support is set to bolster the organisation’s innovative approach to assisting young people in care on their journey towards Higher Education, Training, and Employment.
Distinguished by its campus model, First Star Scholars UK has recently expanded its reach by introducing an online/campus hybrid programme, extending its services to young individuals across the entire UK. A unique feature of their initiative is the early engagement strategy, targeting a cohort of 30 looked-after young people in Year 9 for a comprehensive four-year programme. Monthly online sessions and an annual summer school form a key component of the initiative.
