W Bro J. Alan Severn and RW Bro David Allan ProProvGM
On Monday, 10th March 2025, Elizabethan Lodge No 7324 held their usual meeting. However, there were two important and interesting items on the agenda. To Present W Bro J. Alan Severn, a Certificate to celebrate 60 years service to Freemasonry and the passing ceremony of Bro Craig May of Hundred of Gore Lodge 8314.
The knock on the door and entrance of W Bro Chris Pugh PProvDepGDC, surprised all attendees. He stated RW Bro David Ian Allan Pro Provincial Grand Master, accompanied by W Bro Robert P Rough PSGD, Assistant Provincial Grand Master and W Bro Paul Sully PSGD, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, demands entrance. The brethren and WM welcomed the Pro Provincial Grand Master and the rest of the Executive team.
The presentation of the certificate by the Pro Provincial Grand Master was a wonderful surprise for W Bro Severn. He was greeted and honoured for his service both within and outside of masonry.
The W Bro John T.R. Phillips, PProvADC, WM, performed an excellent passing ceremony for Bro May. W Bro Andrew Robinson PPrGReg, of Hundred of Gore Lodge No 8314, performed his duty as ADC and also delivered an excellent Charge after Passing. Elizabethan Lodge has hosted Hundred of Gore Lodge during their regular meetings to pass Bro Anek and now Bro May.
Both lodges hope to continue their joint collaboration and continue with their tradition of participating in each other’s meetings and ceremonies.
