A message from W. Bro Campbell Caraher, Chairman of TLC Middlesex.
” At this time of year our thoughts turn to celebrating the festive season with family and friends especially the children, so it’s a good opportunity to thank all of the Lodge’s, Chapters, Masonic centres and individuals for their continued support of the Teddies for Loving Care charity across the Province of Middlesex and beyond, without whose support of donations and the volunteers who give up their time to maintain a supply of teddy bears to the paediatric A&E Wards throughout Middlesex. A Special thanks to the staff and management of the Harrow District Masonic Centre who following the recent refurbishment, have decorated their Christmas tree with an assortment of TLC teddy bears”. Additionally, Campbell acknowledged the support he had received from the Brethren of Roll Call Lodge No 2523 both financially and in volunteer roles delivering teddies to the hospitals. He also gave a big thank you to all Brethren and Companions in the Province of Middlesex and looked forward to their support throughout 2025.
TLC Patronage
The Charity also welcomes support from individual Brethren and their families. At the Temple of Athene Lodge No 9541 meeting held at Harrow on Monday 9th December, W. Bro Stan Marut PPrJGD SLGR, a Lodge member, received from W. Bro Campbell a Patron’s Certificate on behalf of himself and his wife Sandra and a TLC special Teddy for Patrons. A donation to the Charity of £250 is all that is required, and W. Bro Stan had no hesitancy in convincing his wife to join him in this charitable endeavour. This is a wonderful charity and deserves as much support it can get in the work it does for youngsters in hospital in the Middlesex area.
