Following the memorable celebration of Lodge’s 150th anniversary last year (2024), Thames Valley Lodge No 1460, meeting on May 10the at Harrow, was honoured to have held a quadruple Passing ceremony, marking another significant milestone in its Masonic journey. The ceremony, which took place in an atmosphere of solemnity and brotherhood, was conducted with great precision and dignity. Bro. Allan Cajucom Jr. led the ritual work as Senior Deacon, guiding the candidates through their progression with admirable composure and skill. His efforts, along with those of the officers involved, contributed to a ceremony that was not only well-executed but also deeply meaningful to all who were present.
The candidates—Bros. Nino Capanzana, Sonny Castro, Jojo Tommy Latayan, and John Noriel Salazar responded to the questions leading from the first to the second degree with clarity, confidence, and evident understanding of their Masonic teachings. Each brother demonstrated genuine commitment and readiness to advance further in their Masonic knowledge and responsibilities. The ceremony was attended by 31 brethren, whose presence and support added greatly to the significance of the occasion, reflecting the strong sense of unity and encouragement that continues to thrive within the Lodge.
After the ceremony, the brethren gathered for a sumptuous festive board that was both joyful and spirited. The dining room buzzed with conversation and laughter as everyone enjoyed the delicious food prepared for the evening. A highlight of the night was the lively raffle draw, with numerous prizes distributed, adding excitement and fun to the festivities. This was not only a celebration of ritual achievement but also a warm social gathering that strengthened the bonds of friendship and fraternity among the brethren.
The evening concluded with a special celebration of St. George’s Day, adding a patriotic and cultural touch to the occasion. A guest singer was welcomed into the centre and delivered a performance that captivated everyone, bringing a fitting close to an already exceptional night. The blend of ritual excellence, joyful celebration, and fraternal spirit made the evening truly memorable. It stood as a fine example of the harmony, dedication, and fellowship that had come to define Thames Valley Lodge as it continues to grow and uphold the values of Freemasonry.
