Western House Masonic Club Invites

The Western House Masonic Club meets once a month in the second week, alternating between the Tuesday and Wednesday at The Uxbridge Masonic Centre, Hercies Road, Uxbridge, UB10 9NA except August. Founded in October 1988 the Club is open to anyone that has a Masonic connection, including wives, partners and friends. This provides an ideal opportunity for members of the Province to participate in the activities of the Club and enjoy lunch. Membership is not restricted to Middlesex Masons as there are many retired Brethren from London and other surrounding Masonic Provinces who live within a short distance of Hercies Road.

The Club provides a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and there is a regular attendance of between 40 to 45.  People arrive from 10.00am and meet in the bar area to socialise. Then there is the regular business of the Club before members retire to the main Temple for 11.00 where a talk is given. Lunch is served at 13.00. This can be on a variety of subjects but has recently included a talk by Worshipful Brother Gil Singleton, a Middlesex Mason, and his time as a former RAF Bandsman as well as other presentations on paranormal mysteries and the Windsors and the Nazis. Other social activities include pre-arranged theatre trips which may be on offer.

This will be followed by a two course lunch of main course and dessert followed by tea or coffee the cost of which is £29.00. Those who attend the Uxbridge Centre for Lodge meetings will know of the high culinary standard.

The club also supports various charities throughout the year, funded by the monthly raffle.

There is a joining fee of £5 per person and Membership is only £12 a year.
