MSSL 1702 – The Master’s List
WBro Jason Nandlal became Master of the Shooting Lodge in April 2025 and as charity steward my first question was “who is on your charity list?”.
After a few days thought I was told Noah’s Ark children’s hospice and Prince Michael of Kent Court.
Speaking with Noah’s Ark they had a few projects that we might be able to assist with. The one chosen was their “Family Activities” with the lodge pledging £2,500 and following an application to the Middlesex Masonic Charity this was doubled making a total donation to Hospice £5,000.

At Noah’s Ark, we focus on what children can do, not what they can’t.
We believe that every child and their family should have the
opportunity to enjoy meaningful, fun and enriching experiences
together. That’s why our dedicated Family Activities team provides a
wide variety of inclusive activities, both at The Ark and within the
community.
Throughout the year, we offer a diverse calendar of activities tailored to
the needs of the whole family. We’ve organised exciting outings such as
theme park visits, concerts, and theatre performances, hosted various
sports sessions like football and ice skating, as well as facilitating
creative and mindfulness activities such as beatboxing, yoga, baking,
and craft workshops.
PMK Court prides itself on the extras they have put in place to enhance the lives of the residents. One of their ideas was for a series of prints by well known artists along a number of the corridors. A vote in the lodge allocated £1,000 to the project. In the end this proved insufficient, but I am glad to say that the brethren later approved an increase to £1,600 to cover the full cost.
Middlesex Shooting Sports Lodge are grateful to “the Friends of PMK Court” and the staff at the home for their tireless efforts and the work in putting together all the prints in the corridors for the residents to enjoy.
Opening of PMK Court Art Galleries – 15/04/2026

We now have a new Master and guess what I shall be chatting with him about.
