On Wednesday 4th June the Charity Steward of St Clair Chapter No 2902, W. Bro Stan Marut, who is also a member of Temple of Athene Lodge No 9541 received a Patron’s Certificate on behalf of the Chapter. It was all a matter of logistics as the outgoing Worshipful Master W. Bro Campbell Caraher is also the Provincial Teddies for Loving Care Representative. What better place to meet than Harrow.
Stan has been Charity Steward of St Clair Chapter No 2902 since 2018. During that time donations to TLC have amounted to £450 which includes the sum of £250 to achieve Patron status. Additionally, Stan and his wife have also become Patrons of TLC. Stan said, “if you believe in what TLC does then what better way to cement that belief by becoming a Patron in one’s private capacity”.
Temple of Athene Lodge No 9541 is the Research Lodge for the Province and can boast several of its members past and present as Prestonian Lecturers. The Lodge invites members of the Province to present a paper at a Lodge meeting of masonic interest. On the same evening, June 4th, the Worshipful Master presented a paper entitled “Masonic Aviators – From the Ground to the Stars”.
