A Ladies night with a difference.

“The 19th May was a Night to Remember at the Spice Rack Lounge, Stanmore where the Pearl of Africa Lodge No 9052 had the pleasure of attending a ladies night dinner. This is a modern Indian restaurant and bar in Stanmore, Middlesex and was a wonderful experience with delicious food, friendly service, and lively entertainment. Here are some of the highlights of our night.
The Food
The menu at Spice Rack Lounge offered a variety of dishes, from authentic curries and tandoor grilled delights to Indian street food and Indo-Chinese fusion. There was a selection of starters, such as chilli paneer, chicken tikka, and papdi chaat, which were all flavourful and well-presented. For the main course, we shared some of their signature dishes, such as fish curry, lamb rogan josh, and paneer butter masala, along with naan bread and rice. Not a hint of prawn salad and mayonnaise. The portions were generous, and the food was cooked to perfection. The spices were balanced and aromatic, and the sauces were rich and creamy. We finished our meal with some gulab jamun and ice cream, which were a sweet treat to end the night.
The Service
The staff at Spice Rack Lounge were attentive and courteous throughout our dinner. They greeted us warmly, took our orders promptly, and checked on us regularly. They also gave us some recommendations on what to order and accommodated our dietary preferences and allergies. They were always smiling and polite and made us feel welcome and comfortable.
The Entertainment
One of the best things about Spice Rack Lounge is that it is not just a restaurant, but also a bar, a live sports venue, an event space, and a night club2. There is always something going on at Spice Rack Lounge, whether it is a live music performance, a DJ night, a comedy show, or a sports screening. On the night we visited, there was a live band playing some Bollywood hits, which added to the festive atmosphere. We enjoyed listening to the music, singing along to some of our favourite songs, and dancing on the floor. It was a fun way to relax and unwind after a long week.
The Verdict
We had a fantastic time at Spice Rack Lounge, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to eat, drink, and party in Stanmore. The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the entertainment was enjoyable. It was a night to remember, and we can’t wait to go back again.
