On Monday, 3rd March 2025, Hundred of Gore Lodge No. 8314 witnessed a truly memorable occasion—the initiation of Bro Casey May. This special event was made even more significant as Casey joins his brothers, Bro Craig May and Bro Courtney May, in Freemasonry. They are the grandchildren of the late W Bro Dennis O’Sullivan, who, no doubt, would be immensely proud to see the ‘Three May Amigos’ united on the Square.
Hundred of Gore Lodge has a proud tradition of welcoming family members into the Craft, strengthening the bonds of Brotherhood within and beyond the Lodge. Among its distinguished family pairings, they are privileged to count:
- W Bro David Robinson & W Bro Andrew Robinson – Father and son
- W Bro Yogesh Teli & W Bro Kishan Teli – Father and son
- W Bro Yogesh Teli & Bro Keval Parekh – Father and son-in-law
- W Bro Kishan Teli & Bro Keval Parekh – Brothers-in-law
- Bro Mahendra Solankee & Bro Jinesh Solankee – Father and son
- Bro Craig May, Bro Courtney May & Bro Casey May – Three brothers
A hallmark of Hundred of Gore Lodge is its commitment to Masonic collaboration, regularly inviting visiting brethren to participate in its ceremonies. This not only enriches their meetings but also fosters deeper connections within the wider Masonic community.
The Lodge continues to work closely with others to ensure the smooth progression of brethren through the degrees. Notably, they have partnered with:
- Colindale Lodge No. 3056 – Passing of Bro Mital (15/11/19) and Raising of Bro Pritesh (17/09/21)
- Elizabethan Lodge No. 7324 – Passing of Bro Anek (11/03/24) and Passing of Bro Craig (10/03/25)
In an exciting development, on Monday, 24th February 2025, we embarked on a new partnership with Wembley Lodge No. 2914, where officers from both lodges came together to pass Bro Mahendra Solankee and Bro Jinesh Solankee during their regular meeting. This collaborative approach enhances the Masonic experience, allowing brethren to share in the richness of our ritual and deepen their understanding of our timeless traditions.
As we look ahead, Hundred of Gore Lodge remains committed to strengthening its ties with fellow Lodges. Through participation, shared ceremonies, and mutual support, they continue to uphold the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth, ensuring that its meetings remain engaging, meaningful, and truly Masonic.
